Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
B74
Composer: Bach
Arranger: Richard E. Jensen
Skill Level: Medium High School
marimba solo with band accompaniment. This setting with band gives the young marimba player a chance to solo with band accompaniment in this very familiar work by Bach. The Marimba part requires some technique through sticking has been kept to mostly basic patterns. The band accompaniment is quite easy once the band has mastered being in 9/8 time. The work\should be an appealing change of pace in your concert preogram and would work very well during the Holidays. Enjoy! " RJ"
