Meet Dr. Vicki Purslow Dr. Vicki Purslow has a Doctorate of Music Education from the University of Pacific Conservatory of Music and more than 15 years experience as a middle school and college band and jazz band director. Vicki has performed on stage with Mel Torme, Joe Williams, Dave Brubeck, Mike Vax, Will Kennedy, Bobby Shew, and Stan Mark, playing soprano, alto, tenor, and bari saxophones; clarinet; bass clarinet; and flute. Vicki is currently the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Southern Oregon University. She recently returned from a tour of China with the SOU saxophone orchestra and will be visiting Paris in the spring for a week of study at the Paris Conservatory of Music.
